- When Bart (AKA Santos) fails to pay the credit card bill the stuff Bart bought gets reposessed. However this doesn't actually happen in real life. Credit cards are unsecured debt. A mortgage or car loan is secure debt. The credit card company can decrease a persons credit rating but they can't steal things that a person's bought using the credit card company's money.
