Belgium is a country in Europe.

History

Chief Wiggum asks Lou and Eddie if they feel like getting some Belgian waffles.[1]

When Lisa Simpsons visits the new comic book store, Coolsville, she discovers a shelf with Asterix and Tintin comics. As she reads a comic book, Tintin mentions that they have to save the Belgian ambassador.[2]

When the Simpsons traveled to Ireland, Lisa mentioned that Ireland is on the forefront of Europe's "tech-boom". Bart mockingly added "In your face, Belgium!", whereupon Marge threatened Bart by saying "If you hate Belgium so much, maybe I should take your Tintins away!" This scared Bart, who clutched a copy of the book The Crab with the Golden Claws, promising he'll be good.[3]

Martin Prince once represented Belgium in the Model U.N. Club at Springfield Elementary School.[4]

It is one of the many countries that competed in the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, British Columbia.[5]

Fat Tony and his fellow mobsters once planned to collect a shipment of guns from Belgium, but the plan went sour when the police showed up and Fat Tony had a fatal heart attack.[6]

Gary Chalmers and Homer brewed Belgian ale in Chalmers' garage. They also read the book Belching Tales of Belgian Ale and had a poster of Belgium on the wall.[7]

Behind the Laughter

During World War II, Grampa and The Flying Hellfish were dropped into the Ardennes, so they would've been in either Belgium (where the Ardennes are primarily located), Luxembourg, France or Germany.
