Current Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim manager, Mike Scioscia.

The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim are a current Major League Baseball (MLB) team in Anaheim, California.

History

Current Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim manager, Mike Scioscia once appeared on a roller coaster in his Angels uniform offer advice to Bart. He lost his cap, only to reveal he wears another Angels cap underneath. Scioscia then showed off his three World Series rings that he earned as a catcher with the Dodgers in 1981 and 1989, and as manager of the 2002 then-Anaheim Angels. He immediately lost one of the rings thereafter. He then tried to give advice to a funnel cake cook, who protested that "not everything's baseball," with Scioscia frustratedly declaring, "Yes it is!"

Behind the Laughter

The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim are a Major League Baseball team that has been in the American League since their creation in 1961 as the Los Angeles Angels. In 1965, they were renamed the "California Angels" and were moved to suburban Anaheim in Orange County the following season. Becoming the Anaheim Angels in 1996, they finally won their first World Series championship in 2002 and were also a very dominative playoff team during the 2000s. Though the team has played in Angel Stadium of Anaheim since 1966, the team was again renamed in 2005 following its acquisition by Arizona advertising magnate Arte Moreno, to the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.
