History
On one occasion, Sideshow Mel paid at Moe's with a ticket for a Laney Fontaine show. Moe attended the show and watched her perform comedy, dance, sing, and act at the Springfield Playhouse. They even had a brief relationship after Laney eyed Moe when she was singing.
