Grampa visited here when he was in World War II and met Edwina here, who he ended up having a child with.

Bart was living a week with the Simpsons family from England after he and Brit was mixed on the airport.

Trivia

• The Gilbert & Sullivan song Major-General's Song features the line "I know the kings of England". The citizens sang the song when hypnotized by Sideshow Bob, while trying to kill Bart.
