Although the subtitle at the end refuses to admit it, the episode is a parody of the Andrew Lloyd Webber-Tim Rice rock opera Evita. The reason that they refuse it at the end is because Webber dislikes having his works parodied.
Goofs
Groundskeeper Willie is seen drowning in the pool, but Seymour Skinner later stated the pool was removed a long time ago.
Herman is seen in the gym, but with two arms.
