Plácido Domingo, Sr., KBE (born José Plácido Domingo Embil; January 21, 1941) is a Spanish opera singer. He voiced himself in the season 19 episode "The Homer of Seville". He commented that Dan Castellaneta had impressive operatic voice, doing all of Homer Simpson's singing instead the common practice of having a professional singer "step in" for the singing part.
