Francisco James "Frankie" Muniz IV (born December 5, 1985) is an American actor, best known for playing the title character Malcolm in the television series Malcolm in the Middle, which was his breakthrough role.
Muniz has also made many guest appearances on TV shows and appeared in several movies, starring in Agent Cody Banks and its sequel as the title character. In 2008, Muniz announced that he was putting his acting career on hold to pursue a career in auto racing.
On The Simpsons, Muniz voiced Thelonius, a boy from West Springfield Elementary School whom Lisa met in the episode "Trilogy of Error."
