Ernest Borgnine is an American actor, who starred in the Simpsons episode Boy-Scoutz N the Hood as himself.
He currently supplies the voice of Mermaid Man in the Nickelodeon's popular animated comedy series "SpongeBob SquarePants"
Borgnine was one of the hired scout leaders for a group of boys in the Junior Campers group. Borgnine and the boys eventually got lost in the episode, were being stalked by hillbillies in a parody of the movie Deliverance, and were confronted by a vicious bear. Borgnine attempted to find his Swiss Army knife to defend them, but couldn't because Homer had stolen it to give to Bart as a gift.
He was, with the group of kids, attacked and presumably killed by an unknown person stalking them while they sheltered at an old, abandoned summer-camp.
