Behind the Laughter
- Both Jonah Hill and Seth Rogen have previously voiced characters on The Simpsons. Hill voiced Andy Hamilton in the season 21 episode "Pranks and Greens", while Rogen voiced Lyle McCarthy in the episode "Homer the Whopper" and himself in the season 25 episode "Steal This Episode".
- The movie is a parody of The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas.
