The Screamapiller is an endangered species that takes up residence in the Simpson families backyard in the episode "The Frying Game". It is large and red and similar to a caterpillar and is easily identified by its constant screaming. It screams in its sleep, is sexually attracted to fire and needs constant reassurance or it will die. The Simpson's are forced to take care of it, and Homer accidentally almost kills it, and his punishment is sentenced to community service.
