Exit Through the Comic Shop is a Bart Simpson comic book story that appears in Bart Simpson #85.
Bart scribbles a picture of Homer onto the wall of Moe's Tavern and of course, he sprays his name tag, El Barto on it. Homer sees the picture, and believes that he turned 2-dimensional, much to Bart's amusement. Later that night, a man named Professor Lombardo sees the painting and the next day he talks all about the painting. Lombardo tells the public that he would buy it if El Barto emerges. Sensing that it is his chance for gaining fame,Comic Book Guy then claims that he is El Barto. Bart does not like that Comic Book Guy is getting rich off something he didn't do, and Comic Book Guy continues to take the credit for Bart's paintings which makes him upset, but after Lisa tells Bart that she does not think C.B.G. is El Barto, she helps him with an idea....
