Flaming Pete's was a steakhouse restaurant, formerly located 75 miles outside of Springfield. It was destroyed in a fire.
History
Homer was angry with his family and went for a drive by himself. He perked up when he saw a billboard sign reading "Flaming Pete's - 75 miles" and started salivating at the sight of the steak depicted on the sign. He became hungrier when he saw more signs counting down the distance to Flaming Pete's, and finally a sign that said "Flaming Pete's - Next Exit". However, when he arrived at the exit, he was crestfallen to find that the restaurant had burned down.
