Simpsons Comics #5 is the fifth issue of Simpsons Comics in the UK, and was released in June 24, 1997.

Be-bop-a-Lisa
Lisa is forced to play "Hail to the Chief" at the school's talent fair but rebels and plays another song. Mr. Largo pulls her off the stage, making Lisa frustrated. She then goes to the mall to sell her saxophone but instead finds a recording studio and records her music. Otto's band, "Otto and the Screaming Whiners", then records their song after Lisa's but due to a recording error the recordings get mixed. Otto then submits the tape to a radio station which plays the song and it becomes a hit in Springfield.
The Simpsons in: Loused Weekend
Jacqueline Bouvier sleeps over at the Simpson's home because her house is being fumigated over the weekend. Neither Jacqueline or the Simpsons appreciate her visit, but try to make her feel at home without success, when she is against everything.
Chief Wiggum's Pre-Code Crime Comics: The End of El Barto
Chief Wiggum tries to put El Barto away for good by following a trail of fresh graffiti.
