2011 Fox Simpsons fan initiative, known to the community as Nedna, was a vote launched after the airing of the season 22 finale, "The Ned-liest Catch". It decided the future of Ned Flanders and Edna Krabappel's relationship.
Description
After the episode the fans could decide the future of Ned and Edna at www.thesimpsons.com, by voting "Pro Nedna" or "No Nedna". All summer long, "I’m Pro Nedna" and "I’m No Nedna" wallpaper, videos, Twitter badges and Facebook icons were available for fans to download and post.
The decision
The decision was revealed in the season 23 premiere "The Falcon and the D'ohman" on 25 September, 2011. The result of the poll is: Ned and Edna will stay together! The result was shown in the episode when Wayne Slater was disturbing couples around town in the night, and Ned and Edna were seen together in bed. Edna winked.
