Isn't it just the same character

I know VIII and the other VII, but isn't it just a simple error in the production rather then a separate character even though no mention that they are father and son (who look like they are the same age). 24.141.5.202 02:17, November 25, 2013 (EST)

All respect to whichever guide writer did that, that makes no sense. He is clearly the same character beyond an extra "I." He's voiced by the same guess star. Plenty of characters' names have changed, doesn't make them two characters. 24.141.5.202 20:16, November 26, 2013 (EST)
