The Funeral (which initially aired in the United States of America on October 4, 1987) is the ninth Simpsons short.
This episode centres around the death of a close family member, the Simpsons' uncle Hubert. However, Bart passes out when, for the first time, he discovers a dead body in the casket.
At the end of the episode, Homer vows that this is the last time any members of the family visit a funeral.
