| |
− | | |
− | "Hello everyone. You know, Halloween is a very strange holiday. Personally I don't understand it. Kids worshiping ghosts, pretending to be devils... things on TV that are completely inappropriate for younger viewers. Things like the following half-hour. Nothing seems to bother my kids, but tonight's show- which I totally wash my hands of- is really scary. So, if you have sensitive children, maybe you should tuck them into bed early tonight instead of writing us angry letters tomorrow. Thanks for your attention."

| |
− | Bart and Lisa tell scary stories while Homer listens from outside.
| |
− | *Bad Dream House: The Simpsons move into a haunted house that oozes blood, and a voice tells them to get out. Marge wants to leave but Homer convinces her to sleep on it. Later, everyone is possessed and chases each other with knives. Marge tells the spirit to find a way for them to live together. After he thinks about it, he blows up.
| |
− | *Hungry Are The Damned: The Simpsons are abducted by aliens. On their way to another planet, Lisa suspects that they are being fattened to be eaten. Her suspicions are confirmed when she finds a book reading "How to Cook Humans". Kang then blows off dust to show that it says "How to Cook For Humans". Lisa then blows off more dust to reveal "How to Cook Forty Humans". Finally, Kang blows off the last of the dust to reveal the title "How to Cook For Forty Humans". The Simpsons are then dropped off at their own house.
| |
− | *The Raven: Lisa tells Edgar Allan Poe's classic tale of horror. As Homer listens, he envisions himself as the narrator, Marge as Lenore, and Bart as the raven. As the kids sleep peacefully, Homer begs Marge to leave the lights on.
