The Detroit Tigers are a current Major League Baseball (MLB) team in Detroit, Michigan.

History

Kent Brockman once said that Springfield's pro-darkness policy has resulted in a spree of vandalism unmatched since the Detroit Tigers made the playoffs over two centuries ago.^[1]

The Detroit Tigers are a baseball team that has been in the American League since their creation in 1901. The Tigers won their last World Series in 1984 and after a number of struggles in the early 2000s, the Tigers have been toward the top of the American League Central standings since the mid 2000s.
