Gil is what people in Springfield call a loser. He tries to get deals going with residents of Springfield, but never succeds. He is always asking for jobs, including car salesman, house bell consultent, and many other jobs he has failed to do. Some people in the town feel very sorry for him, and who knows what else Gil will get up to?
