Grampa's Christmas Orgins Christmas Carols is a Simpsons Comics story that appears in The Simpsons Winter Wingding 6.
Plot
Bart and Lisa are going to sing carols when they encounter Grampa in a house, who tells them about the first Christmas carols. In the fourteeneth century there was a group of writers annoyed that no one wanted to hear their Christmas wassailing. They heard a crazy woman singing to rats while feeding them pieces of bread. They then decided to sing their Christmas wassailing with her melody, which only attracted rats. The rats that were infected with the Black Death were captured, which the crazy woman did not like. Grampa explains to the kids that Christmas songs are a dirty business and should only be expressed by the music plagiarists. Reverend Lovejoy then comes and asks them to walk away with Grampa, which they do. Grampa then says he now can help them sing to get rid of all rodents, making this to the best Christmas ever.
