The 2010 Winter Olympics were a major international multi-sport event held in Vancouver, Canada for teams to enter from each country. Homer, Marge, Principal Skinner and Agnes Skinner entered the mixed-doubles curling demonstration event, and won the gold medal over Sweden.
There also appeared to be a bobsleigh event as Homer went down the slope accidentally.
