Terry Cashman is a singer-songwriter most famous for his 1980s hit "Talkin' Baseball". He sang a parody of the song, entitled "Talkin' Softball" at the end of "Homer at the Bat".

Terry Cashman was voted joint 17th in IGN's "Top 25 Simpsons Guest Appearances" along with fellow Baseball players Roger Clemens, Wade Boggs, Ken Griffey Jr., Steve Sax, Ozzie Smith, José Canseco, Don Mattingly and Mike Scioscia.
