The Springfield Dinner Theater serves entrées to its audience while simultaneously putting on plays. Homer, then a food critic for The Springfield Shopper, gave the restaurant and that night's showing, a bad review. The theater was the sight of an attempted assassination of Mayor Quimby by the Springfield Mafia.
