Stan Smith is the main character of American Dad!. He appears in The Simpsons in a police book, along side Peter Griffin. Stan is guilty of Plagiarismo Di Plagiarismo (plagiarism of plagiarism, which is the Simpsons writers' way of saying that American Dad! is a rip-off of Family Guy which is already considered by Simpson writers--and detractors of Family Guy--as a rip-off of The Simpsons).
