The Power Plant of Pain is a comic story first printed in Bart Simpson's Treehouse of Horror #8. The story was later reprinted in the collection The Simpsons Treehouse of Horror Hoodoo Voodoo Brouhaha.
Synopsis
- Mr. Burns recounts the alphabet in a set of twenty-six macabre and gruesome limericks.
Segments
- A: Comic Book Guy snaps in the face of declining sales and goes on an axe-wielding rampage.
- B: Dr. Nick accidentally uses the wrong brain while creating a bride for his Frankenstein's monster.
- C: The Creature from the Blue Lagoon lures and attacks romancing couples.
- D: A terrorist cell end up tormented in Hell by the Devil.
- E: Homer and Bart are maimed at the circus, after their consumption of peanuts enrages the elephants.
- F: A carnival geek tries dating twin freaks, only to find they are regular non-conjoined twins.
