After the Springfield Squidport was revamped, Homer and Marge decided to spend an evening there. While walking along the boardwalk, they passed a number of businesses. One of the stores they passed was selling food from Iceland.[1]

After Homer, Carl, Lenny and Moe won the lottery together, Carl cashed the prize money in for himself and traveled to Iceland, where his adoptive family lived.[2]
