Homer vs. the Raccoon II is a Simpsons Comics story first printed in Simpsons Comics #77.
Synopsis[edit]
Plot[edit]
After being outsmarted with every plan by a raccoon eating from the trash cans, Homer keeps the trash in the car so the raccoon can't get it. As Homer is driving the kids to school, Bart asks Marge if he can just walk to school, and Lisa complains about the flies biting her. Marge demands that Homer stop the car right there, which he does.
Back at the house, Marge tells Homer that they can't live like this. Lisa then suggests catching the raccoon using humane methods. She and Homer set up a cage in the backyard to catch the raccoon. First, they try using fish as bait, but catch Snowball II instead. Second, they try using a Butterfinger as bait, but catch Bart. Finally, Homer uses pork chops as bait. Soon after, the raccoon is captured. However, when Homer sees it in the cage eating the pork chops, he realizes that the raccoon likes pork chops cooked the same way he does and decides that he can't turn it over to animal control. Homer adopts the raccoon, which causes havoc in the house.
