Comic Story information

Homer vs. the Raccoon is a Simpsons Comics story first printed in Simpsons Comics #77.
Synopsis[edit]
- When Homer finds a raccoon eating his garbage, he becomes determined to kill the creature.
Plot[edit]
At night, Homer, Marge, and Bart are woken up by noises coming from outside. Homer looks out the window to see what is causing the noise and sees a raccoon in the trash can. Homer mistakes it for a cat, but Lisa tells him it's a raccoon. Homer then throws the radio clock at the trash cans, scaring the raccoon off.
The next day, Homer sets up a trap for the raccoon. He hoists an anvil above Ned's new trash cans since he doesn't want to use his own. He then has Bart come out dressed as a raccoon for the test. However, the raccoon comes by before Homer is ready and grabs a fish out of the trash before running off. Homer drops the rope, which causes the anvil to fall, and the rope snags his ankle, hoisting him upside down. Homer vows to get the raccoon if it's the last thing he does, but the rope snaps, dropping Homer on his head. Homer says that it's time for Plan B, but Bart says that he's not going to put on a dress and "make eyes" at the raccoon. So Homer has to come up with a plan that doesn't involve Bart.
