Springfield Art Contest was an art competition organized by The Krusty the Clown Show.
History[edit]
The contest was held by The Krusty the Clown Show to determine the winner of the Worldwide Krusty the Clown Treasure Hunt. Among the contestants were Bart Simpson, Todd Flanders, and Martin Prince. Bart's winning artwork earned him the grand prize, allowing the Simpson family to embark on the international treasure hunt.
Unbeknownst to the contestants, the contest had been devised by Mr. Burns as part of a scheme to eliminate the Simpson family. Throughout the trip, Bart overcame the challenges set by Burns and defeated each of his relatives who attempted to stop the family, ultimately completing the treasure hunt and foiling Burns' plan.
