The Summerfield Atoms are a football team in the film Gladys the Groovy Mule.
History[edit]
Bash Flashman was the quarterback for the Summerfield Atoms. When Peter Lewis wanted to impress girls, he decided to join the Atoms too. However, the coach laughed at him and had him looking after the team's mascot, Gladys, instead.
With one second left in the team's game against Notre Dame, Peter and Gladys took to the field. Gladys scored the winning points and the team celebrated with Peter.
