Competition[edit]

Homer Simpson later received a detailed long-distance bill issued by Springfield Bell, listing a series of expensive international calls made to places like Antarctica and Australia. Seeing the unusual destinations, he briefly assumed he himself might have made the calls before realizing they were linked to Bart's earlier prank.^[1]

Bart and Lisa once entered a competition to photograph something to be on the front cover, the prize being a bike. The old picture on the front cover was Mr. Burns, and the current picture is young Bart and Lisa sitting on a toilet naked.^[2]
