Movie Information
|
Chasing Apu is a movie based on Apu's life.
History[edit]
When a character in the film Clerks said "Thank you, come again," Manjula asked Apu if he had seen that movie before, and he answered that he was the creative consultant. He added that the director liked him so much that he based a later film on him and showed her a poster of the film Chasing Apu, adding that the studio made a few changes in the final cut.
Behind the Laughter[edit]
Chasing Apu is a parody of Chasing Amy. Both Clerks and Chasing Amy are by Kevin Smith.
