History

During a promotional event for a new Krusty Burger menu item, Homer Simpson, who was working as a Krusty the Clown impersonator, mistakenly attacked a performer portraying the “Krusty Burglar,” believing an actual robbery was taking place. After being severely beaten in front of the crowd, the injured performer weakly asked bystanders to check his MedicAlert bracelet, indicating he carried medical information intended for emergencies.
