- Homer: Uhhhh! It's sooo hot. What a day for the air conditioner to go on the fritz. It's actually cooler outside the house than inside! Hmmm. I think I'll go make myself a nice cold cut sandwich, wash it down with a tall, cold glass of milk, and top it all off with some frozen ice cream treats from the freezer!
- Memory Marge: Homer, remember to check up on the kids while I'm shopping.
- Homer: Aw, memory-Marge is right. It's too quiet around here. Bart and Lisa must be up to something. I'd better see what they're doing before real-Marge gets home and I have to make up some story about why I wasn't keeping an eye on them.
- Homer: This heat is driving me crazy! Where can those two brats be?! I give up. I've looked everywhere for those kids. It's time to reward my hard work with something cold and refreshing, and I know just where to find that.
