History[edit]
When Fern, the substitute art teacher for Ralph's class, discovered that Ralph spoke in haikus, she helped him publish My Cat Hates Showers. Ralph and Fern went on Krusty's poetry talk show, Krusty's Poetry Korner, to discuss the book.
A movie based on the book was also planned, but the offer fell through.
