Type: Dish washing detergent
First Appearance: "In Marge We Trust"

Mr. Sparkle is a Japanese brand of dish washing detergent.

History

Homer thought that the company was using his likeness without his permission, so after Akira translated for him that he was made in the "sacred forests" of Hokkaido, he called the soap factory. A video from Mr. Sparkle's manufacturers explained that it came from combining a cartoon fish and lightbulb. To sum up the explanation provided by the video, Bart said to Homer, "There's your answer, fishbulb."[1]
