During the "Springfield Nuclear Family Day", Plopper was attacked by the Hounds. To avoid being sued by Homer, Smithers offered to have the pig treated at the Burns Medical and Longevity Center. At the medical center, Mr. Burns became fond of Plopper, and the two spent time together.
