Venus is a planet in the solar system.
History
Bart was once stuck in a cupboard at school where he memorized the order of the planets in the solar system, including Venus.[1]
When Homer bought a telescope for Lisa, she read the book Star Searcher and found out that at 6:22 p.m. Venus would be visible at 27 degrees.
