Yael Naim is a Franco-Israeli singer-songwriter of Tunisian Jewish parents. She was born in Paris, France, but grew up mostly in Israel.

Naim performs in the pop, new wave, and indie rock genres, recording her songs in French, English, and Hebrew. To date, she has released two studio albums. Her song "[[wikipedia:New Soul|New Soul]" had high digital sales in the United States, making her the first Israeli solo artist to ever have a top ten song in the USA.

Naim provided the voice of Dorit, niece of the tour guide Jakob, in the episode "The Greatest Story Ever D'ohed."
