Stitchface was the name Homer gave to the football used during the Pigskin Classic game.
History[edit]
After the Pigskin Classic football game, Stan Taylor initially offered the game ball to Ned Flanders. However, at Ned's suggestion—and recognizing that Homer was the biggest Springfield Atoms fan—Taylor gave the ball to Homer instead. Homer accepted it and affectionately named it "Stitchface."
