The episode was written by Brian Kelley and directed by Timothy Bailey. It guest stars Richard Branson as himself, Yaya DaCosta as Princess Kemi, Jon Lovitz as Enrico Irritazio, and Kevin Michael Richardson as the Nigerian king.
"The Princess Guide" was dedicated in memory of actor Leonard Nimoy, who died on February 27.
Synopsis
- "Homer is put in charge of keeping Princess Kemi out of trouble while her father, the Nigerian king, works out a uranium deal with Mr. Burns. When Kemi ends up at Moe's, Moe jumps to the conclusion that she must be related to the Nigerian prince who scammed him over email and schemes to get his money back. But much to his surprise, he finds himself falling for the princess."
Reception
Hank Azaria won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Character Voice-Over Performance in the 67th Primetime Emmy Awards for voicing Moe Szyslak and Kevin for this episode.[1]
