Cultural references[edit]

• The title of the short is a reference to the Star Wars movie Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
• The short's poster is a reference to the Star Wars IV: A New Hope film poster.
• Jabba's Hut Jedi Preschool is a reference to Jabba the Hutt.
• Sky Walkers is a reference to the Skywalker family.

Many Star Wars species and characters appear as babies. A message in Aurebesh is written on the blackboard just above C-3PO

• In the room next to that one, models of the Millennium Falcon, an X-wing and a TIE Fighter are seen hanging from the roof. Jango Fett's jetpack is on the wall.
• Several Star Wars species and characters appear as babies:

• The "New Improved Death Star Guaranteed Undestroyable" is seen and destroyed by Maggie. This is a reference to the two Death Stars that were destroyed in the saga.
• Statues of the Seven Dwarfs from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs are seen on the cabinet that falls on Maggie. The cabinet is a reference to the Team Disney building at Walt Disney Studios.
• A Binky doll is among the stuff on the cabinet.
• When Maggie emerges from the destroyed cabinet, she looks like Yoda.
