Eliza told Virgil that she was there to rescue him and take him north, pointing in the direction she thought was north. Virgil told her, "I don't think so," and when Eliza complained, asking if it was because she was young and a woman, Virgil told her it was because she was pointing south. Virgil and Eliza then ran off in the correct direction while being chased by two patrollers.

The Kingdom of Springfieldia is a kingdom in medieval times. Lord Montgomery ruled over the town, while King Quimby ruled over the kingdom of Springfieldia.

The Kingdom of Springfieldia is a medieval town mostly constructed from stone and wood. Two major landmarks make up the town, Lord Montgomery's Castle and the Springfieldia Human Power Plant, where several people worked as slave labor. Along the castle walls are spikes with severed heads of people on them. The town center is home to many shops and businesses, while the town square has space for public punishments of criminals. Outside of the town center is where the serfs live in hovels surrounded by open fields.

Lord Montgomery, who rules over the town, keeps people suffering because human misery can be collected and ground into a powder for nobles to use to get tiny wings that do not do anything. Because of Lord Montgomery's policies, most of the town lives in awful conditions. Illnesses and diseases are very common, with Barber Hibbert being the town's doctor at Barber Hibbert's Surgery.

King Quimby rules over the entire kingdom from his court. The court seems to be close enough to the town center for the nobility to visit...
