History[edit]
After Marge took painting classes at the Springfield Community College, she made a painting of Homer, which her teacher, Professor Lombardo, praised. He decided to choose the 'Bald Adonis' for the Springfield Art Exhibit. Eventually, the painting won first prize.[1] Later, Marge tried to sell the painting at the Springfield Swap Meet.[2]

The painting depicts Homer in his underwear asleep on the sofa with a beer in his hand.[1]
