History
Clyde Barrow and Bonnie Parker robbed the Oklahoma Savings & Loan during their crime spree in a story told by Homer when the Simpsons were stuck in a Tunnel of Love ride.
Behind the Laughter
The real Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow did rob banks, but not as much they robbed grocery stores or gas stations. Their only bank robbery in Oklahoma was at the Central National Bank in Poteau on January 25, 1934.
