The 'Company Picnic is an annual event organized by Mr. Burns for the employees of the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant.
History
On one occasion, the Simpson family attended the company picnic at Burns' manor. After observing the other families, Homer becomes aware of his own family's shortcomings and dysfunctions and decides to improve their behavior.[1]
On another occasion, Homer attended the picnic and made a ten-foot hoagie, which he ate over the course of a week before getting sick from eating a spoiled sandwich.[2]
