The episode was written by Loni Steele Sosthand and directed by Matt Faughnan. It guest stars Chloe Fineman as Tasha, Kelsey Grammer as Sideshow Bob, and Jay Pharoah as Drederick Tatum.
Synopsis
- "The Simpsons encounter death on vacation at a high-end resort."
Production
Originally "The Beautiful Shame" had a production code 35ABF08.[1] However, in January of 2024 "The Yellow Lotus" script was read with this code,[2] while "The Beautiful Shame" was postponed.[3]
Mike Reiss and his wife Denise appeared as cameos in the background in a flashback.[4][5]
The melody of the “Yellow Lotus” song was written and sung by Kara Talve.[6]
