Linda Ronstadt is an international singer. Barney hired her for his Plow King commercial, in which she sings the Plow King jingle. In the ad, she sings the jingle in English. Later, she tells Barney that she's working on a Spanish-language version of the jingle and sings a couple of lines for Barney.
Moe asks Barney how he got Linda Ronstadt to work with him, to which he answers that they have been looking for a project to do together for a while.
