History
After Nelson won a football game, his father offered to take him to Hooters. Nelson said that he didn't want to disturb his mom at work though.[1]
When Marge started saving money to build a "nest egg" in case Homer passed away, she made Bart and Lisa wear clothes from Goodwill to school. Lisa was embarrassed because she had to wear a t-shirt from a Hooters restaurant in Manhattan Beach.[2]
The rest of Nelson's fourth grade classmates laugh at him for his mother losing her job at Hooters over gaining too much weight.<ref>"Milhouse Doesn't Live Here Anymore"</rref>
